Making education more accessible and cost effective is essential for our country to remain at the forefront of innovation. Closing the achievement gap is critical--everyone is entitled to a high-quality education, regardless of their zip code or socioeconomic background. Great education starts with great teachers, and we must recruit and retain talented educators. It is imperative that the public school curriculum adequately prepares our students to thrive in the labor market, in both the present and future.
As your Congresswoman, I will:
Invest in our schools, so that every child has the ability to receive a top-notch education.
Push for an increase in wages for all public school teachers.
Work to eliminate student loan debt.
